Ansul R102 Kitchen Fire Suppression System
SERVICING AND MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS


Servicing is carried out in accordance with UL300, NFPA 17A, NFPA 96 Standards:

n The Ansul R102 system requires servicing at least every 6 months or after your canopy/filter clean down.
n Fusible links must be replaced every 6 months.
n All blow off caps must be replaced annually.

The following items are inspected and tested:

n Mechanical Gas Valves (if applicable)
n Manual Pull Station
n Electrical Switch (if applicable)
n Detection System
n Mechanical Auto Man Release
n Tension Spring & Lever
n Ansulex Tank
n Charge Cartridge CO2/Nitrogen

Any major component part replacements will be in addition to the service cost.

Also, kitchens must be closed and fryers must be turned off at least 1 hour prior to service.
